  Wow, delicious! I bought their kimchi stew for takeout! It was only $13 and its huge! So delicious, tastes a little sweet, little spicy. They give alot of rice and some sides. The sides are so good too! I only ate half and I'm so Full. So worth it.
  
  The young lady was so sweet too. So great customer service.

  One of the best tasting Korean places on island. I'm not exaggerating. It's my mom's favorite restaurant by far and if she could, she would come here every week. Every time our family has to pick a place to eat, her response is always - Spoon!
  
  I'm sure many would agree because every time we do end up coming here, there is always a wait and it is always busy. That alone should be proof of how awesome this place is. But no matter how busy or how long the wait may be - it is always worth it.
  
  Our favorite dishes are the following:
  - Marinated Short Rib
  - Stir Fried Squid
  - Meat Jun
  - Saba
  
  Can't forget to tell you about the sides. *closes eyes and imagines* So gooood! Just trust, I've been here more than 4 times with my parents and I bet my parents lost count with how many times they've gone here without me and my fiance.

  I'd safely say that Spoon is the west side version of Ireh. Things that make Spoon different though-- less parking spaces and no desserts during lunch. Both have homestyle Korean food with great variety (Ireh has a bit more jook variety though). I especially enjoyed the seafood pancake.
  
  If you don't feel like making the drive out to town, I'd say this is a solid spot. Otherwise, Ireh it is.

  Korean food in Ewa!!! Yay!!! I got the dukbokki, kalbi, spicy pork, seaweed soup, and soon tubu jigae. (We got it to go) The meat in the seaweed soup was tender and it was still stove hot when we ate at home! The dukbokki was good and had fish cake, onions, green onions, and carrots in it. It was mostly duk and fish cake as it should be! They also had a good amount of the sauce to dip the duk in. The kalbi was tender and the spicy pork was good. The sides... some of the best in Hawaii! The kimchee is actually good! Not under seasoned, too fresh, or on the sour side! They have a great selection to choose from! You get four choices with your meal. The cucumber kimchee, seasoned dried fish, seaweed kimchee, and the seasoned root vegetable were all delicious! They are up to nine tables to dine in. Service was awesome and they are super nice! Ewa is lucky to have you!
  
  UPDATE 7/24/19 Long week at work, didn't get lunch today, had an apple banana and that's it. came in for dol sot bibimbap. It was good and came with 6 sides. Service was good and friendly. I was bummed no pohleecha for nulongji! Oh well. I still didn't have to cook dinner tonight and can go home and crash.

  I have so many wonderful things to say about  Spoon! First and foremost,  this has now become one of my favorite Korean restaurants! Im just sad that it's such a drive for me to get there. But, its definitely a good reason to drive all the way to Ewa Beach for.
  
  Where to start... We came here on my husband's birthday for lunch after golfing and picking up our son from family's house. Our son is only 3 months, so he was in his stroller.  The staff was super accommodating in helping us get a table where we could keep him in the stroller and park it next to our table.
  
  The food... I am drooling just thinking about it.  The sides,  not only are they refillable, but they are great! But my favorite dish wer had was the tteokbokki!! Absolutely mouth watering! Wer got it with cheese and it just makes it that much better! By far, the best that I've ever had! The other dishes wer had were great too, but let's just say that I've been wanting to return to Spoon just for the Tteokbokki! It is so worth the drive!
